We made it through our first week with just a few tears, but now we are doing great and excited about each new day! Every class is filled with amazing children. What a blessing they are in my life! Every day is a joy! We are fast becoming friends and learning how to treat each other with kindness and respect. This month our themes are Friends, Sharing, Apples, and Animal Homes.

This week we will read the story of Pinkerton the pig in "Me First" by Helen Lester and learn that we don't always have to be first, sometimes it's just as good to be last!

Just a reminder about our homework assignment - The Preschool Stars Scrapbook page. Please include a picture of your family and tell us a little about each member. This is really fun for the children to share and it will go in their scrapbook for the year. Please no bigger than an 8 1/2" x 11" page. I appreciate your helping to complete this for the children. It really does make them feel special.
